It’s finally spring! For most of us anyways (We’re looking at you, dear readers in Canada). Spring is the time to embrace the most lady like frivolities. Skater skirts, fun vibrant patterns, killer orange lipsticks are all a part of fashions most colorful season. As everything thaws out, our spirits are lifted and what better way of showing that than by ditching the see of black and grey we stuck to for the last 5 months?
A trend we’ve seen almost on every Spring/Summer 14 runway: pretty pastels in mint green, lavender and blush pink.
Yes don’t give up on your gym routine just yet, crop tops are not going anywhere!
Ladylike and preppy florals à la Blair Waldorf.
Full Skirts More ladylike trend with this voluminous silhouette.
Sweatshirts No longer for the gym only, this trend is as chic as it’s comfortable.
Suits are not so boring when patterns and colors are involved!
Whether a varsity jacket, a baseball cap or a tennis inspired dress.
The classic white button down shirt was seen on most S/S14 runway.
Wide-Leg Whites Making a come back this season are wide-leg pants!
So school is back on, and whether you’re excited about it or completely devastated that summer is over, we can all agree that with fall approaching, it’s time to change our beauty routine.
For this fresh back to school look, I primed my face with Bare Minerals “Prime Time” in order to have a smooth canvas to work on. I then used Guerlain’s “Parure de lumière” foundation under my eyes, on the sides on my nose and for spot hiding. I’m not a big fan of using heavy foundation during the day (If it’s not broken don’t fix it right?).
I then filled in my brows with Anastasia’s “Perfect Brow Pencil”, and proceeded to create a slight cat eye with l’Oréal’s “Supreme slim” liquid liner. I used Physicians Formula blush, and Benefit’s “High Beam” for a natural glow along my cheeks, nose bridge and cupid’s bow.
To finish off the look, I wore my favorite YSL’s “Vernis a lèvre” (seriously this stays on forever and looks divine).

Inspired by Helmut Newton’s photo, designer Jason Wu showed his SS 2013 Collection reflecting the theme ‘Naughty or Nice’ with a big mirror at the top of the runway .
Jason Wu had his models in tight leather dresses, bustier tops, leather skirts embroidered with lace, and covered some faces with netted veils. To top it all, the models had a very flat make-up with bright BOLD lips balanced with BOLD eyebrows..
Streets and stores in NYC have been crowded with shoppers, designers, models and bloggers for last night’s FNO. Started by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour in 2009, FNO is now spread in 19 countries but New York City remains the place to be.
